At present we are looking to add to our team of site operatives.

  • Multi-skilled tradesman with general or specific construction experience (Full time)

  • Trainee operative (scope to undertake PCA apprenticeship in damp/waterproofing) (Full time)

To be considered applicants should have a full clean driving licence, and possess reasonable literacy skills.  

Attention to detail, professionalism and a desire to learn are key.

Please note that we are looking to recruit from our local area and would not consider candidates beyond a reasonable distance to our offices in Glossop, Derbyshire.

Wage is negotiable depending on experience.

Trace Basements & Trace Remedial Building Services is a specialist contractor dealing with problems of moisture in buildings.  We’re a family owned and run business trading 46 years; we’re multi-award winning and are the leading specialists in Manchester and the North West.

In particular we provide:

  • Remedial damp treatments, dealing with rising & penetrating dampness.
  • Timber preservation, via treatment of timbers in-situ or replacement, using traditional or modern timber resin splice techniques.
  • Structural waterproofing, dealing with and preventing issues of groundwater ingress in structures below ground.

We work on everything from small to large scale residential, lots of commercial, new-build, historic and listed, for everyone from insurance companies, councils, investment funds, major house builders, and private clients.
