Wide
profile membrane forms a stepped dpc in all non-ground retaining
walls one course above slab level, and will later be lapped down
and sealed to a cavity drainage dpm. Weep holes are formed in
the bottom course below the dpc, allowing ground water to safely
drain into the periphery WaterGuard.
|
|
ThermalDry
lines the ground retaining structural walls, directing any ground
water seepage down into the WaterGuard located at the 'low point'
within the cavity, with wide profile membrane forming a cavity
tray and stepped dpc, over and through the internal leaf, which
again has weep holes within, and from there is linked to the cavity
drainage dpm, which can either sit high on a sacrificial screed
or structural insulation to raise the dpm over the level of the
channels.

|
Wall
ties are fitted into sealed plugs fitted by Trace, supporting
the inner leaf, and the wide profile membrane cavity tray/dpc
is left ready to be linked to the cavity drainage dpm.

WaterGuard
is included within the cavity around the full perimeter, including
areas of low external ground level, for complete protection, particularly
where ground levels are close to floor level. In this instance
the channels are linked to the drains without recourse to pumps.
