Properties constructed in to sloping sites often have garages which retain ground and suffer groundwater penetration as a result. Commonly these are modern structures with external adhesive bitumen sheet membrane tanking systems which fail to exclude water, resulting in damp conditions internally.
We are often asked to remedy penetration and these are examples of that work where a comprehensive solution has been provided by treating walls and floors. There is reasonable cost in such an approach but lesser options are viable.
This space suffered very intermittent water penetration but needed to be dry all of the time. Again, drainage, panel wall linings and in this instance, and epoxy resin floor coating were employed to provide a dry space finished to a high standard.
